Goals & Goal
Setting:
Everyone has knows about goals, set goals and heard the
cliche "set and work toward your goals for success". Goal
setting is different for everyone. Many people will
set a goal to achieve something, then after a period of time
forget about the goal or only review once in a while and before
you know it they have dropped that goal. Possibly they set set
a large goal that a day, week or month later they magnitude of
the goal overwhelms them.
Depending upon your experience and skill level of setting
and achieving goals (yes I said skill level) maybe you need
some basics. I have found that setting a major goal is
just the first step. Now take that goal and work it out
backwards into smaller manageable goals. If your goal is to do
something in 1 year, you need to go backwards and break it down
in to smaller pieces. Smaller goals within the main goal. Such
as what to accomplish in each quater, each month, each week,
maybe even daily. Now you have smaller manageable golas and
steps to accomplish the main goal. Smaller pieces are easier to
put you head around.
Write out on paper the main goal and all the smaller parts,
and make sure you have dated them. Review them at least twice a
day. Can you see in your mind the achievment of that goal? How
about each smaller sub-goal? Do you believe? Let's GO
JOE.....get to work.
The above is very basic, but you get the idea. The purpose
of this area is to provide a visitor with information,
articles, plans, audios and videos to encourage everyone to
work and fine tune their goal setting.
